Our History

In July 1940 the Greenside Extension Primary School opened its doors, with seven classrooms and administration offices. Mr G.H.H. Nesbit was the first principal and a staff of four taught the 137 pupils, the first enrolled.

Coding

The Department of Education has advised that pilot programmes in coding will start at some schools from 2020. Coding will soon become a subject offered at all SA Schools. We would like to get a head-start by introducing it at our school.
